Sutton Lane

This privately developed new build 5 bedroom detached property was subject to a Code for Sustainable Homes assessment for both planning and client marketing purposes. Constructed using offsite manufactured timber frame technology the entire structure of the building was responsibly sourced to high levels of accreditation. The energy strategy included underfloor heating, a highly efficient gas-fired boiler and secondary heating provided from a wood burning stove.

The luxurious home was finished to exceptional levels of quality, using solid oak doors, skirting, architraves and bespoke crafted solid oak staircase, sustainability was very important to the client and every effort was made to ensure impact upon the existing environment was minimised. GWP Project Services ensured Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3 principles were embedded within the building design, such as Secure by Design certification and the use of rainwater harvesting and attenuation tanks to ensure the impact upon the existing drainage network was no worse than previous in a region prone to flooding.
