We are pleased to announce our appointment on an exciting refurbishment project for the University of Plymouth, creating a new Dental Education Facility that will see Plymouth University dental students treat NHS patients under the supervision of qualified dental professionals.

In collaboration with principal contractors Mitie, this is one of the first SKA Assessment projects GWP have undertaken for a higher education facility and shows there is a growing demand for SKA, which offers robust environmental assessment of refurbishment projects on typically short programmes with a reduced scope to new build or major refurbishment schemes that would be BREEAM assessed.

SKA are due to release their Higher Education specific criteria in mid 2016 which will compliment the existing Office and Retail suite of assessment methods. Head to the SKA rating website for more information.

We would also like to take the opportunity to congratulate James Ivin who recently became a fully accredited member of the SKA licensed assessor team at GWP Project Services.
