GWP Project Services are delighted to have been named as part of the Arup team to provide BREEAM and sustainability consultancy for the lucrative first phase High Speed 2 (HS2) Birmingham Interchange Station believed to be around £70m in construction value.

HS2 Ltd have established clear requirements in terms of their sustainability objectives and GWP’s extensive and award winning BREEAM assessment services were considered to be a great fit within the Arup team, who we are currently working alongside on the Paradise redevelopment project in central Birmingham, new academic buildings for the University of Birmingham and the National Automotive Innovation Centre (NAIC) at the University of Warwick with Jaguar Land Rover & Tata Motors.

Design development is progressing on a tight programme and in collaboration with Architects Arup Associates and Wilkinson Eyre, the project will target a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating and is due to complete in 2026.
