Russian residential development shortlisted for 2021 BREEAM Award

GWP Project Services are thrilled to announce that one of our assessments,  Building 17, has been shortlisted for the BREEAM Awards 2021.

Building 17 consists of a 6-storey residential building, located in Tyumen, Russia, due to be completed in Q4 2021. The building is part of a large-scale development masterplan of new residential housing titled the ‘European Quarter Residential Complex’.

The scheme recently achieved BREEAM ‘Excellent’ at design stage. This is the first BREEAM International assessed Residential building in Russia to meet an ‘Excellent’ rating and also the first building outside of Moscow to achieve an ‘Excellent’ rating; a proud achievement for leading Russian developers, Brusnika LLC.

The BREEAM Awards is an annual celebration that recognises the people, projects and organisations that are leading the way with significant achievements in sustainable building design, development and management.

Building 17 has been shortlisted under the ‘Homes – Design Stage’ category which comprises highly complex projects in urban contexts, all aiming to deliver homes with a focus on comfort and sustainable living.

This year the BREEAM Awards ceremony is moving online, starting the week commencing 23rd March and spanning over three days. The ‘Homes – Design Stage’ Award will be announced on the 23rd March, 14:00 (GMT).
